What is Aids?

Have you ever just wondered what AIDs is? AIDs, Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome is associated with " the most advanced stages of HIV infection"( Aids.com). People with AIDs have less than 200 CD4 positive T cells per cubic millimeter. Aids is caused by two viruses which comes from the family of viruses called retroviruses. When you have AIDs, it breaks down your immune system which causes you to develop many other different chronic illness such as lymphomas and many other different types of cancer, which is harder to treat in people with Aids.
